Senior System Architect

Assignment description

We are looking for a System Architect to our client.


Assignment Description

Lead creation of system architecture in a project to develop a central, software-based control- & data collection system (HETS). The architecture must cover SW, HW, PLC, HMI and database and must be documented in both Swedish and English. Take the "SW Team lead" in the HETS project to guide the team in software selection and -development. Replace Siemens PLC control system on existing Sawmill with Beckhoff PLC. The project includes going through existing hardware components to verify function. The updated machine must be CE-labeled which requires risk analysis by CEDOC and Functional Safety documentation by Sistema. The control system must be structurally aligned with the HETS system for full integration on preparation and database communication. PLC software maintenance- and debugging on existing production machines controlled by Siemens and Beckhoff PLC. Support as expertise on existing old test rigs with various versions of: Unitronics, Mitsubishi-, Beckhoff- and Siemens PLC. On-site is mandatory as a lot of work is hands on problem solving. Extensive knowledge in machine- and/or test rig development.
