Assignment description

For our client we are seeking for a senior Project Manager to manage a roll-out of a new Finance SAP solution.

The company is implementing a new finance platform in order to support the company strategy execution. This new IT platform, based on SAP S4/HANA will improve financial insight and improve efficiency in financial processes through a new information model.

Tasks include:

Organizing project team, assigning individual responsibilities, determining resource requirements and aligning them with line organization, developing project schedules that fit the periods when Business Controllers are available and align them with the central program;

Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing;

Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards;

Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget;

May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects).

Project Manager on Lead level is a specialist in general project management typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 8 years or more relevant experience). Manage projects with high complexity for major delivery with medium to high impact on the business. Support teams on how to apply PM expertise skills.

Most probably has a certification in project management.

Responsibilities typically include: Managing large projects or (end to end) processes with limited oversight from manager.

Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
